In the small town of Pennington on the KwaZulu-Natal south Coast is a gem of a place thats' certainly worth seeking out. Visiting Yellowwood Indigenous Nursery is not only about selecting some wonderful indignous plants, but also about the whole experience.

Sunday Lunch at the nursery's restaurant, The Meeting Place, is a treat with real comfort food and decadent pudding. Follow this with a stroll around the nursery and through the indigenous forest to the dam before heading back for coffee. Your guide is Lucy, a dog that will lead as long as there is a crowd.

It's a place people come back to every week for the plants, the peace, the food and the company of hosts Gailenene and Joyce.
